The Evangelical Cemetery in Gostków was supposed to share the fate of many post-German cemeteries in Lower Silesia, that is, to be sold and liquidated. However, in 2015 Halina Bryk and Angelika Babula, mother and daughter, became interested in it. Driven by a need in their hearts, they decided to buy the site and take care of it. In 2016, they founded the Anna Foundation in Gostków and began to gather around them people who are fighting to save the cemetery. Thanks to their commitment, the devastated 19th-century necropolis, after years of work, has become a beautiful memory garden. Among the greatest successes is the restoration of the chapel at the entrance to the cemetery.
