The Upper Lusatian House in Wolimierz (Volkersdorf) was probably built at the beginning of the founding of the village of Volkersdorf in the second half of the 17th century. This is indicated by the old Lusatian construction swords, the wood used, and the location of the building itself, which is in the center of the village. Volkersdorf was known for its linen products and the processing of pearls and garnets. It used to be a craftsman's house, probably a weaver's workshop. In the 19th century, there were about 60 weaving workshops in Volkersdorf itself.
