Villa Karłowicza 5 in Wrocław

Wrocław

The Villa is located on Karłowicza Street (Beethovenstrasse) in Zalesie district in Wrocław. It was built in 1911 as the residence of the Goerlich family. During the renovation, the current owners, Anna and Piotr Kozak, undertook the restoration of the superstructure destroyed during World War II. In doing so, they modeled their design on the original blueprints stored in the Wrocław Construction Archive. The villa has surviving woodwork, including box windows and folding doors, which have been painstakingly restored, as have the wrought iron elements. The porch windows are decorated with paintings.
