„Zabytek – nie zapomnij! Monument – mention it!”

is a German-Polish monument conservation competition organised by the Association for the Care of Silesian Art and Culture (VSK) and the OP ENHEIM Foundation in cooperation with the German-Polish Foundation for the Care of Culture and the Protection of Monuments to support sustainable monument conservation on small objects in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, the southern part of the Lubusz Voivodeship and Upper Lusatia (the part belongs to Saxony).

The award is intended to encourage private developers, non-profit organisations or comparable legal entities to invest in objects of historical or art-historical significance. The objects should regain their former beauty and significance in the overall picture of Lower Silesian towns, communities and landscapes. These properties do not necessarily need to be subject to official state monument protection but must have been constructed within the specified geographical area by 1960.

The restoration, reconstruction, or renovation of the submitted entry must be completed at the time of application. For the 2026 edition, projects completed between January 1, 2017, and the competition closing date are eligible for submission.

The winners of the competition will receive prize money of total amount of 20.000 PLN.
